Lau Pa Sat

Ok am going out of my routine here but for those of you who are thinking of visiting Singapore, one of the places you have to stop over (that is if you are a food lover) is to visit the Telok Ayer Market, now called Lau Pa Sat (“the old market”). Right at the belly button of the City Business District (CBD) of Singapore, it now offers several shops and food stalls.

With its unique, octagonal, cast iron structure, Lau Pa Sat is a place of gathering for people who wishes to have a good fast meal, live bands or to have a good beer when watching your favorite football game.

What’s on the menu?

A lot. Foot traffic in Lau Pa Sat is so many that it offers from your local Chinese, Malay, Indian to Hungarian and Puerto Rican Chicken. We’re talking buffet here.

Giving away cynical postcards

Ok I’m feeling generous. :)

Message me over on Facebook or leave a comment and will get back to you shortly. :)

First 10 peeps only (yes, be kind to me)!

I’m quite as you say stuck in Singapore and it has served as a second home to me and not of fey anymore.

I’m yet here again on the crossroads to move or not to move. Proposals of Malaysia, Thailand and even New Zealand came up seemed ever so tempting most especially that I am in the market again. Delicious.

But it seems I am enjoying watching as old and new friends move in to wonderful Singapore and discovering a couple of things which I used to find so enchanting! Read more

Sort of Kinda Blog Dead?

I know! I know! I haven’t posted anything decent, consistent and readable. It most especially doesn’t help my Establishing a Routine project. Boo!

Where am I? What have I been doing? And the good question… Why?

Because am enjoying.

New job, new set of friends, new get together with old friends. New new new. It’s like shedding off worn out clothes and a positive outlook. Oh and the occasional nanny duty.

Happy Chinese New Year!

:P Yes, this is a recycled photo of my Quickie in China Town set. Yes, this is a scheduled post. When I posted it, no one will ever know. :P
