Post Nasal Drip

You usually don’t hear it. Three words. Post …. Nasal… Drip … The first time and probably the only time I will ever hear it again and again and again is from my sister whenever I feel I am about to get a flu.
She would patiently explain it to me I have a cold behind my nose and it doesn’t necessarily mean that I necessarily have to sneeze a lot to have it.
Before the day ended yesterday, I had a strange sore throat. No colds. No cough. A very irritating stingy sensation on my throat. It is like when you accidentally drink a glass that has soap in it.
The following day I marched in to the clinic and told the doctor what I was experiencing and added… “I think it’s post nasal drip but it’s not like the usual way I have it.”
Doctor then replies, “Have you been having colds?”
“No.”
“Then it’s not post nasal drip.”
Then he gets a popsicle stick and checks my throat…. “Ok. It’s post nasal drip.”
Ano baaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Koya.
