Bed Sheets
May 31st, 2010
On a weekly basis, I try to change my towels. On a monthly basis, I try to change my bed sheets. Amazingly, I’m not a fashion type of person like Karen Cheng which I envy her so much that she gets to be a mom and a fashionista, but I find joy in changing fabric.
The current hype with my Mom for quite some time is having bed sheets made out of flannel. Wool woven and warm, it’s quite soft and adding a good cup of fabric softener makes it just like a cloud to sleep on. A couple of visits ago, I asked my Mom to get me some bed sheets for this couple I know of who’s wife loves the Ugly Dolls and the hubby loves the robots. Of course, given with the excess baggage I’ve been getting every time I go home, it wasn’t until last month my Mom finally brought it with her. Of course, missing out spoiling me, she suddenly installed it.
Funny! I couldn’t say no because I do love the prints anyway.
