So after having to spend about a month with my Mom and Dad’s iPad (sshhhh I’m having an affair), I could not stop but ponder on this one thing they did.

Why are there dimples on the keyboard? Then again it might be a good training for users really that hey touch typing is there. But on iPad?
I give credit where credit is due. I don’t usually rant but this just merits a damn good post on how crappy Hide My IP is.

Hide My IP is a tool that masks your IP when browsing. I know it may sound a little bit sneaky but for those who are paranoid about their information and is into testing websites especially if it’s part of their job description, this is essential.

The four words cannot fathom enough the emotional and mental state that I am in. It is so perfect and probably of the right timing. No doubt, babe. The whole game plan is serendipity itself. Why have I never thought of going for this was totally stupid, immature and put of profile of a person such as I. All that roller coaster is about to stop and letting me have sit in a possibly beautiful relationship’s driver seat is just…. Heavenly. Alas… All good things must end and we have to part.

Being an Internet addict and doing web things, a lot of people come up to me asking is it really worth having a .com, or a domain, and how it is made. I’m sure it’s quite a common question and can be easily answered by Google but let me say it still.

To own or not to own?
That’s the question. To be honest, having your own .com, .net, .org, etc or also called a domain is helpful in probably three main reasons:
- Looking good. Having your own domain makes that certain impression that you are serious and at the same time takes your website as its own brand. It is helpful as well for future visitors (with bad memory retention) to remember to go on the website with that URL – your brand plus a .com.
- Security. Getting your own domain allows you to have your own email address using the name. Interesting enough a lot of people, and really even myself especially when it comes to enquiring, do take note of the email address and base impressions there. Rather than having myvoice@yahoo.com for an ezine contact email address, having editors@myvoice.com ensures that they are contacting the real deal.
- Ranking. Believe it or not having a domain that is frequently updated will put you in the first few pages in the search result.
