I’m Awake, I’m Awake

So just like the Druids of the Claw in Warcraft, I’m saying this now. I am frigging awake. Literally.

My body clock is severely ruined. I would stay up to 4AM to 5AM and wake up at 8AM. There was even a time it was 6 or 7. Not the way on how to live. I have been spacing out, getting extra cranky, having eye irritation, and if I do go on, my stomach would be next.

My body is saying it. Time to listen. Friends are even kind enough to say it. I had a lot of different hints from phone to chat and even on email at 7AM from a friend’s dad…. A friend’s dad! Ugh.

“Just remember all that money isn’t worth it if your health is at risk.”

“You’re going to burn up bad. ”

“If you get down and sick, [Boss] will not bring you to the hospital.”

“You cannot do this. You have to have a shift.”

And the best line goes to:

“Babe, have a beer.” In an attempt to catch me off guard. I think.

So yeah. I’m still alive and I’m awake. Time to regain the wheel on my car.

Mom’s in Town and look what we were doing

So my Mom was in town last week. It was just perfect as the 20th World Orchid Show was in town AND the Gardens by the Bay of Singapore opened for preview.

Sadly I was too busy but at least we got the basics down – orchids, orchids, orchids. Not major shopping but we got to go around.

So here’s a preview of what actually happened to us:

Placid Friday

I think am mellowing down. Last Friday, I went off with a group of my friends to check out MAAD’s Friday get together. Before anything else, dinner must be done and we hang out in a Japanese restaurant. Despite the hideous headache Pat and I had because of work, it came out quite pleasant.

Of course for once, we didn’t, or rather, they didn’t end up with any alcohol but we ended the night nicely.

On my way home, I saw a fat cat roaming around the building where I live in. It was nicely perched beside the fire hydrant and I just had to stop and take a picture which eventually got a couple’s attention. Well I wasn’t able to get a picture but after patting it, I found it following me down the pathway and I just had to sit by the side and continue reading Pibidy with the fat cat for a couple of minutes.

It was placid. Simple things like this makes you stop and think of life. Awww. Sappy.

I am in love!

The four words cannot fathom enough the emotional and mental state that I am in. It is so perfect and probably of the right timing. No doubt, babe. The whole game plan is serendipity itself. Why have I never thought of going for this was totally stupid, immature and put of profile of a person such as I. All that roller coaster is about to stop and letting me have sit in a possibly beautiful relationship’s driver seat is just…. Heavenly. Alas… All good things must end and we have to part.

What can I say? I’m just too simple and cheap for you.
