Ok am going out of my routine here but for those of you who are thinking of visiting Singapore, one of the places you have to stop over (that is if you are a food lover) is to visit the Telok Ayer Market, now called Lau Pa Sat (“the old market”). Right at the belly button of the City Business District (CBD) of Singapore, it now offers several shops and food stalls.
With its unique, octagonal, cast iron structure, Lau Pa Sat is a place of gathering for people who wishes to have a good fast meal, live bands or to have a good beer when watching your favorite football game.

What’s on the menu?
A lot. Foot traffic in Lau Pa Sat is so many that it offers from your local Chinese, Malay, Indian to Hungarian and Puerto Rican Chicken. We’re talking buffet here.

When my sister and I were working in Mc Donald’s SM North Edsa Carpark, we had to undergo a training on how to prepare, package, and clean.
One of the most awesome things that we, as consumers take for granted, or rather ignore, are the lids. Lids on disposable plastic cups have this pea size dimples that is paired off with labels to indicate what’s the current content of the cup.
Simple. Notable. Clever.

Special thanks to Lucy. Taken way back October 2009.
This is not normal but we do change shifts if needed. With me feeling tired and all, I scheduled our weekend maintenance on Sunday. Well I did go to church already.
So don’t go fussing about that.

Before going off to work, Koji surprised me with pancakes. I love pancakes. It is the best way to say what a great morning and a bright day ahead. Throw in cream cheese, blueberry, strawberry and maple syrup. Perfecto!
